Duties and Responsibilities
- Load and configure software on production hardware using standardized procedures.
- Perform system imaging, BIOS updates, and firmware installations.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting of hardware and software issues during production.
- Follow detailed work instructions and maintain accurate documentation of processes.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and IT teams to ensure smooth production flow.
- Support inventory tracking and labeling of configured systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety and ESD protocols
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED with Technical School or equivalent experience.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and software installation.
- Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills. both written and verbal.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic production environment
- Ability to read and understand diagnostic data.
- Experience with system imaging tools (e.g., Clonezilla, Acronis, MDT) a plus
- Exposure to scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) or automation tools a plus
- Familiarity with ERP and/or MES systems a plus.
