Duties and Responsibilities
• Load and configure software on production hardware using standardized procedures.
• Perform system imaging, BIOS updates, and firmware installations.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting of hardware and software issues during production.
• Follow detailed work instructions and maintain accurate documentation of processes.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and IT teams to ensure smooth production flow.
• Support inventory tracking and labeling of configured systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety and ESD protocols
Qualifications
• High School diploma or GED with Technical School or equivalent experience.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware and software installation.
• Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills. both written and verbal.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic production environment
• Ability to read and understand diagnostic data.
• Experience with system imaging tools (e.g., Clonezilla, Acronis, MDT) a plus
• Exposure to scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) or automation tools a plus
• Familiarity with ERP and/or MES systems a plus.
