This position provides professional veterinary expertise in thoroughbred and/or standardbred racetrack regulatory medicine and supervises the Breeder Medication Program and test barn activities. This position also administers Bureau of Animal Health and Diagnostic Services programs and legislatively mandated laws and regulations in the assigned PDA region to provide animal disease surveillance and control.

Work Hours and Additional Information:
Full-time employment.- Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM; 30-minute lunch
- These positions will be home headquartered if within Fayette, Greene, Washington, and Westmoreland Counties
- Multiple positions will be filled from this posting.
Qualifications:
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of farm animal and/or poultry practice experience as a USDA accredited veterinarian.- Necessary Special Requirement: Possession of a license to practice veterinary medicine as issued by a state board of veterinary medical examiners.
- PA residency currently waived for this title.
