About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Plant Electrician to join our team at Commonwealth Rolled Products. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring the smooth operation of electrical equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, including measuring, indicating, timing, communications, combustion control, control instruments, and electrical circuits.
- Install, inspect, test, calibrate, adjust, modify, construct, clean, and service electrical/electronic/pneumatic, and recording systems.
- Perform layout and installation of electrical equipment and circuits according to specifications, working from general instructions, prints, diagrams, and electrical codes.
- Maintain a clean and orderly condition in shop and work areas, observing all safety rules.
- Use cranes, industrial vehicles, and material handling equipment as assigned and/or needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- At least three years of electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment, or a two-year electrical program from a technical college, plus one year of electrical maintenance experience.
- Ability to perform physical and labor-intensive tasks.
- Flexibility in working hours, including day, evening, and night rotating shifts, daily overtime, weekends, and holidays.
