Security Guard

Salary range for this role is between $17-$27/hr.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Document incidents clearly and accurately in security logs and reports.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and alarm systems.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement, fire, or EMS as needed.
• Enforce facility policies, including visitor protocols and staff identification procedures.
• Respond to emergencies such as behavioral disturbances, medical incidents, and fire alarms.
• Monitor facility entrances, exits, and restricted areas to prevent unauthorized access.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in security 2
• -3 years, law enforcement, or military preferred
• Healthcare security experience strongly preferred

Certifications:

• Valid Driver’s License (if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification (or obtain within 6 months)
• Crisis Prevention/Intervention (e.g., CPI) certification preferred
