Administrative Technician/ Interpreter | Texarkana, TX

Job Scope: Admin Tech and Interpreter performs responsible secretarial duties that may include but are not limited to routing and mailing/faxing correspondence, maintaining confidential files and information, assembling and organizing program materials needed by ECI program staff, filing client chart documents, making up intake and assessment packets, answering the telephone, taking referrals etc. Duties include providing Spanish translations for ECI families in the home and community. Position will possess technical skills as described in the Core Competency Inventory. Elements of the job scope are performed in a manner that articulates the mission, vision and values of the organization.

Education/Licensure: Bi-lingual. High School education or equivalent. Prefer college and/or secretarial school training.

Experience/Knowledge: Demonstrate knowledge and applied competency in good telephone skills, ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and verbal exchange with the public, clients and program personnel. Should have knowledge of computer applications related to word processing and spreadsheet applications. Knowledge of office and clerical procedures.

Must be able to complete activities necessary to perform services. This includes, but is not limited to, lifting up to 20 pounds.

Minimum Hiring Hourly Salary: $16.00
