Title: Senior Project Manager – Data Analytics
Location: Newark, NJ (Hybrid – Must be willing to go onsite 2 days a week)
We are looking for a Sr.IT Project Manager with experience in Data Analytics. The ideal candidate should be detail oriented and take ownership, must be able to work with diverse stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- PM must know Agile/Kanban methodologies. Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously
- Experience with delivery of Data Analytics use cases and solutions
- Prefer Experience in AWS Cloud platform and services related to Data Analytics (S3, Redshift, etc.),but not mandatory.
- Develop and track metrics and reports.
- Multi-tasking and being detail-oriented is critical in managing multiple fast-paced project teams and processes.
- Perform additional duties and ad-hoc projects as required.
- Create, coordinate, and maintain project timelines and schedules.
- Communicate project schedule, requirements, and status to colleagues and stakeholders.
- Facilitate and attend meetings with various technical and non-technical resources to capture project requirements, identify project milestones, communicate project timelines, track action items, and monitor project status.
- Responsible for creating and sharing meeting agendas, as well as the distribution of follow-up notes and action items.
Requirements:
- 10 Years as Project Manager with experience in Agile/Kanban methodologies.
- Experience with delivery of Data Analytics use cases and solutions
- Prefer knowledge of AWS Cloud platform and services related to Data Analytics (S3, Redshift, etc.)
- Experience with agile methodology (running scrums, sprint planning, etc)
- Scrum Master certification a plus
- Skilled at generating full project plans
- Must be able to document User Stories and understand business requirements and represent them accurately
- Drive team delivery, including coordinating workstreams to manage project interdependencies
- Prepare clear, concise, and informative project reports/presentations for program/project meetings
- Use Microsoft Project and SharePoint to manage, monitor, and track project milestones and risk deliverables
- Knowledge and experience in end-to-end project delivery, either traditional Software Development Lifecyle (SDLC) or agile delivery methodologies (or hybrid approaches)
- Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership
- Must be very proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, etc.)
- PMP Certification is preferred.
