What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Planner position at CONAGRA?
Conagra Brands - Indianapolis, home of Reddi Whip and Blue Bonnet, is looking to add to our team to help us meet the demands of our customers across the country. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will work onsite at our Indianapolis, IN manufacturing plant on West 62nd St. planning and scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance activities. You will initiate purchase requisitions for MRO-related parts and services, oversee daily work activities of Maintenance Technicians and promote usage of maintenance-related continuous improvement systems and tools.
You Will:
Manage weekly work order schedules including obtaining necessary schematics and checking parts availability.
Coordinate equipment repairs and maintenance with Supply Chain and Quality Assurance.
Ensure completeness and quality of maintenance work is accomplished safely.
Participate in continuous improvement administrative and technical programs, such as cost reduction, process improvement, and communication
Use CMMS (SAP PM) to monitor and improve performance of the Maintenance and Reliability program.
Support data analysis to minimize loss and increase line efficiencies.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to support optimized maintenance work activities.
Help manage the department MRO/outside services budget.
Cover the maintenance department in the absence of the maintenance supervisor.
You Have:
High school diploma or GED
3 years manufacturing maintenance experience
1 year maintenance planning/scheduling experience
Ability to flex work hours, including occasional weekend work for site Maintenance coverage
