We’re seeking a talented Lead React Native Developer to help deliver the company’s first Mobile Application that provides world class experience to delight our customers. An ideal candidate is a forward and innovative thinker, experienced in working on applications that are used by millions of customers with great satisfaction.  Customer empathy and working collaboratively in cross-functional teams is a must. The ability to thrive within our Agile framework combined with a commitment to continuous improvement is essential. Our engineers are delivery focused with experience in React Native, and other mobile development platforms including – iOS OR Android, React, .Net, C#, SQL and Azure Cloud who can identify and articulate different solutions and approaches when building customer applications. Practical real-world experience building quality robust scalable solutions on Mobile, Web with integration to Backend Services coupled with the ability to share and learn from your teammates is key to success.

Responsibilities

As our Lead React Native Developer, you will:

• Deliver best in-class mobile applications with high-quality, efficiency, scalable, and reusable code always protecting customer privacy and confidentiality.
• Bring mobile best practices from previous experiences as well as being a constant learner who keeps up with what is happening on Mobile Development.
• Deliver well-structured software with robust unit tests.
• Be responsible for the quality of the code delivered for our code as well as the team’s.
• Be a leader is figuring issues proactively (functional and non-functional) and partnering well with team, Product Owner, and Quality Assurance team.
• Be an active team member partnering within the Scrum team to deliver their as well as teams tasks on schedule.
• Extend existing system functionality based on user requirements; analyzing code to identify areas for modification while maintaining and supporting existing products.
• Provide feedback on Mobile strategy.
• Actively participate in the definition, design, and planning new and updated features.
• Partner with teammates to ensure cohesive, usable, quality solutions are produced.
• Produce complete, succinct, and coherent documentation.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• 8 years of experience in all aspects of the application development process; including Epic/Story elaboration, technical design, coding, deployment, and documentation.
• 6 years of development experience delivering mobile applications on React Native, Native iOS (Swift or Objective C), Native Android (Java or Kotlin).
• Familiar with all things related to React Native including the latest libraries – Typescript, Storybook, Redux, Redux Persist, AsyncLocalStorage, React Native Animated API, Axios, React Query. Frameworks like Jest, husky, jetifier, eslint. Experience with Analytics, Crashlytics, Push Notifications etc.
• Familiar with building tools such Xcode, Android Studio.
• 2 years of development experience delivering Web Applications built in React or similar frameworks with experience integrating with RESTful APIs.
• 2 years of experience utilizing the following technologies: C#, .NET Core, SQL Server.
• Experience integrating with Google/Firebase Analytics, Crash Analysis Tools and Performance Monitoring and various tools in React Native Platform. Deploying to App Store and Play Store is expected!
• Debugging and testing: Proficiency in debugging and testing React Native applications, including tools like Jest, React testing Library and Enzyme.
• JavaScript/ TypeScript proficiency:  Expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript including advanced knowledge if ES6 , functional programming, and asynchronous programming.
• Professional experience with CI/CD Pipeline systems like ADO, Jenkins, Terraform, and SonarQube is expected.
• 4-year degree in computer related field or equivalent experience in computer systems desired.
