Please note this is a part-time temporary position. Performs a variety of routine physical tasks related to material handling and assisting Facility Staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the relocation of materials within CTC, including various equipment and pallet racking.
• Assemble, disassemble or relocate modular office furniture as directed.
• Assist experienced technicians with various tasks as directed.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly or frequently touching, grasping, pushing, standing, walking, driving, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, climbing or balancing, reaching with hands/arms and performing repetitive wrist, hand and/or finger movement.
• Medium work frequently exerting up to 75 pounds of force.
• Clarity of vision at 20 inches, 20 feet or more, three-dimensional vision, ability to identify and distinguish colors, ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus, and ability to see up and down or right or left while fixed on a point in order to read blueprints, set-up furniture, etc.
• Frequent to concentrated attention required.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form.
• Basic language and math skills.

Work Environment:

• This position is in a climate-controlled environment and is safety and security sensitive
• Moderate noise level.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of 2 years of related experience desired.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools.
• Ability to lift and transport objects of at least 30 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Fork truck experience a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Candidates shall be reliable, cooperative, flexible and have an excellent work ethic.
