An established and growing retail organization is seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Manager to lead enterprise-wide data governance efforts across ERP, PIM, and eCommerce platforms. This strategic leadership role is responsible for defining the vision and driving execution of product data integrity, cross-functional alignment, and scalable data practices across the business.
- Oversee all product-related data across ERP, PIM, and eCommerce platforms.
- Lead a team of product data specialists while defining best practices for data governance and management.
- Develop strategy and roadmap for master data platforms, ensuring effective data quality monitoring and governance tools.
- Create optimized SQL queries for integrations and reporting.
- Execute large-scale data cleansing projects (correction, consolidation, enrichment).
- Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to streamline data management processes.
- Establish and maintain data quality, security, and adoption standards across the enterprise.
- Eliminate redundancy in external data sources and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Guide cross-functional stakeholders on data strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
- Oversee and maintain systems and documentation supporting performance reporting and automation.
- Model leadership and mentor others in alignment with the company’s core values.
- Handle inquiries, support needs, and decisions with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
What You Bring
- 4 years of experience in data governance/master data management (or equivalent combination of experience and education).
- Strong understanding of retail business processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); SQL experience strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with EDI systems a plus.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to manage teams, drive projects, and implement scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and an ability to manage competing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to build trust, influence decisions, and lead with integrity and initiative.
