Searching for a Financial Associate (FA), who is responsible for ongoing financial analysis for external clients and internal agency projects. As a key member of the agency’s Accounting Finance team, the Financial Associate is responsible for a variety of tasks within agency and client financials, including data analysis to identify opportunities and make recommendations, supporting the period-end close, ongoing financial reporting and oversight of the firm’s financial tools and platforms. The FA must collaborate with the Accounting Finance team, along with key business leaders at the agency, on an ongoing basis to maintain accurate reporting and financial inputs.
PROFESSIONAL/EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- Possess excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ownership and support of agency’s financial management solution platform Maconomy: Including creation and ongoing maintenance, of clients, Jobs, as well as related documentation retention (e.g., executed and authorized MSAs, SOWs, Purchase Orders, etc.).
- Job Budgets: Ensure timely and accurate completion of initial project budgets and subsequent revisions.
- Job Activity: Responsible for reallocation of employee time, client invoices, and vendor invoices between Jobs in Maconomy.
- Account Team Support: Provide support across all accounts in the form of ad hoc requests (e.g., queries around activity with Maconomy, providing supporting documentation, etc.) as well as generate and disseminate monthly reports on time and with accuracy (e.g., employee time registered across specific Jobs / Sub-Jobs).
- Client Profitability Analysis: Perform real time analyses, including but not limited to, budget vs. actual variance, billing and collection, and realization.
- Receivables: Follow-up with account management teams on a periodic basis regarding the status of outstanding receivables to improve cash flow management.
- Monthly American Express: Responsible for the creation, dissemination, and collection of the American Express statements from employee cardholders as well as the upload of those statements into Maconomy.
- Maconomy Time Expenses: Lead new hire training and onboarding on completion, submission, and approval of time and expense sheets in Maconomy. Responsible for monitoring and ensuring time and expense sheet submission and approval are completed throughout HUNTER / Legend on a timely basis.
- Revenue Recognition: Responsible for the initial creation and maintenance of quarterly revenue recognition calculations as well as the dissemination and follow-up with the account teams.
- Budget Forecast: Responsible for the timely population and upload of the input templates for the annual budget and quarterly reforecasts.

In order to comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, the Company believes the target base compensation for this role is $80,000 to $90,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
