Responsibilities & Duties:
· Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with organizational goals.
· Manage the department budget, allocate resources effectively, and optimize costs.
· Maintain essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.
· Ensure network components work seamlessly together to meet business needs, leveraging their full capabilities.
· Stay informed about new features and competitor solutions.
· Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration.
· Lead and manage IT projects within the larger business initiatives.
· Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software.
· Continuously analyze departmental needs, identify vulnerabilities, and enhance productivity, efficiency, and accuracy.
· Prepare cost-benefit analyses for necessary upgrades.
· Monitor vendors to ensure optimal service and value for business needs.
· Train employees on software and hardware usage.
· Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely support.
· Develop and execute disaster recovery plans.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
· Five or more years in IT management.
· Certifications such as CCNP, MCSE, Network , Security or equivalent.
· Deep knowledge of programming languages and operating systems (e.g., Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory).
· Familiarity with current equipment and technologies.
· Understanding of enterprise backup and recovery procedures.
· Proficiency in systems performance monitoring.
