Director of Beverage
Are you a passionate and knowledgeable beverage professional with a flair for innovation and a commitment to excellence? The Congressional Country Club is seeking a Director of Beverage to lead our beverage operations and elevate our wine and cocktail programs to new heights. What will be expected of you :
- Curate an exceptional wine and beverage program that enhances the overall member experience.
- Design and implement innovative cocktail menus while maintaining consistency with club standards.
- Elevate wine culture and knowledge among hospitality team members through training and mentoring.
- Collaborate with F&B managers, banquet and catering managers, and the purchasing team to ensure seamless operations for events.
- Oversee bar operations, including compliance with cleanliness and safety standards.
- Conduct monthly inventory checks and assist with purchasing and receiving wine, liquor, and beer.
- Lead and support multiple events, wine dinners, and tastings throughout the year.
- Actively build and maintain strong relationships with club members.
- Ensure all beverage-related areas, including bars, wine cellars, and storage, are organized and compliant with regulations.
- Maintain regular, reliable attendance, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Other projects and duties as assigned by the Food and Beverage Director.
