Our law firm client in Decatur is seeking an experienced legal assistant with a background in litigation and / or personal injury. This long-term, in-office contract position is perfect for a skilled professional looking to contribute meaningfully in a flexible, lower-hour capacity.
Responsibilities include answering phones, managing emails and faxes, e-filing in state court, calendaring, scanning and maintaining physical files, scheduling depositions, obtaining medical records, and ordering supplies. Proficiency in WordPerfect or Word, Adobe, Time Matters, and Google Calendar is preferred.
This role offers the opportunity to do valuable work in a supportive and collegial environment (in your own private office) without the demands of a full-time schedule. Hourly rate based on experience.
