What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Internal Trainer position at ConnectWise?
The Associate Internal Trainer will work with Managers and Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to create, maintain and execute training for ConnectWise Colleagues within their departments. The primary responsibility is to coordinate and schedule webinars, workshops, the certification program and other Education engagements. Also, to train ConnectWise colleagues on the key functions of their role and making sure they are given adequate training to be successful. Other administrative duties will be requested as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Schedule Colleague Onboarding and coordinate training events.
- Process Internal training board and assign tickets based upon team’s skills.
- Schedule certification programs and coordinate testing.
- Develop, add new content and maintain Sharepoint site.
- Develop role-based training materials, and content for colleagues.
- Work with SME’s within each department to develop and maintain role based training
- Create and maintain applicable certifications for colleagues and departments
- Develop ongoing training for all colleagues on solutions as well as job functions
- Create virtual training that can be leveraged and dispersed among colleagues
- Stay up to date on new in-person and virtual training techniques, styles and methodologies

- Background or experience developing training materials and curriculum
- Experience presenting and conducting training
- Knowledge in adult learning and techniques preferred
- Ability to work on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously
- Excellent listening and communications skills, both verbal and written
- Organized, detail oriented and self-motivated
- Strong computer skills and the ability to effectively communicate through e-mail
- Knowledge of IT, Professional Services, CRM, or ERP markets preferred
- Problem-solving skills and have demonstrated the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to build positive and collaborative relationships
- Willingness to develop professionally
- Ability to work with little supervision
Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:
- INTERNAL: Bachelor's degree and 6 months of experience as Education Coordinator
- EXTERNAL: Bachelor's degree, 2 year of experience as Education Coordinator
Working Conditions:
- Currently Remote/WFH. Occasionally coming into the office could be required in the future.
- Some travel may be required
