Target Pay $160k - $180k, plus bonus
Job Description:
Hands-on leadership role for someone to work with and oversee engineering teams from embedded systems, autonomous systems, and software application layer systems groups. Collaborate with product and hardware teams. Help define the software roadmap for the teams, and grow/mentor the software groups of people. Oversee the architecture of real-time-operating-systems, embedded Linux systems, and autonomous systems. Develop and own KPI's, reliability of product, and technical debt. Present to executive leadership, and participate in strategic partner meetings.
Required Skills:
- 10 years in Software Engineering
- 5 years in a Leadership role
- Expertise in Embedded Linux , C/C and RTOS
- DevSecOps security software
- Experience in Aerospace, UAV or directly related industries
- Bachelors Degree or Masters in Computer Science
Bonus / Soft Skills:
- Agile/Scrum
- Yocto, NVIDIA Jetson, Qualcomm Chipsets, or similar edge platforms
- PX4, MAVLink, ROS
- Machine Learning
- Sensor Fusion for autonomous systems
- NIST or FedRAMP or ISO27001
- Ability to obtain a federal Security Clearance
