Position Overview:
We are looking to hire Automation Technician who can:
· Perform Wire Shark captures and interpret the data collected
· Set up VPN Tunnels
· Set up port-forwarding rules in managed switches/routers
· Use Wire Shark box to diagnose network issues without affecting existing network
· Source/simulate 4-20 mA signals
· Develop a PLC and HMI Programs from scratch
· Prioritize tasks and manage their time effectively
· Coordinate directly with customers to schedule visits as needed
· Fully troubleshoot issues without assistance from a senior technician
· Pull together an estimate including parts/labor for upgrades and new systems
· Do a complete control panel design from engineering drawings
· Startup a new control panel in the field
Job Qualifications:
· A minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent required
· 2-year degree in Electronics, Electrical or equivalent certification preferred
· At least 10 years of related experience in the Automation Industry or related field preferred
· Candidate must have experience with programming and troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs
· Experience with Emerson, Siemens, SCADAPack PLCspreferred
Minimum Requirements:
· Must be able to lift 50Lbs, work on equipment-bending, kneeling, sitting, and/or standing
· Valid Driver’s License
· Must be able to pass a Drug Test and Background Check.
