Who We NeedImmediately Hiring a Program Coordinator located in Mesa for East Villages Day Program, Monday through Friday - 7:00am - 3:00pm.
The Program Coordinator provides quality services to enhance the lives of individuals with disabilities. Services are provided in day programs work related programs and in the community. The Program Coordinator promotes active recovery and a positive environment for individuals as identified in their individualized service plan/recovery vision. The Program Coordinator is responsible for the overall performance of the assigned program(s) in providing operational, and administrative leadership and coordination of services to members.
Requires any combination of training, education, and experience listed below:
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field plus two (2) years’ experience working with adults in a behavioral health setting: equivalency of education and experience acceptable.
- One (1) year of supervisory experience in behavioral health setting required.
- Satisfactory work record as determined by the People First/Human Resources Department.
- Must have a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card through the Arizona Department of Public Safety or be eligible to receive within eight (8) weeks of hire.
- Required to maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license and are able to pass a motor vehicle screen for insurance purposes in order to transport clients.
- Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening.
- TB Test clearance required at the time of hire and annually.
JOB SUMMARY (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO)
- Develop and direct program functions and objectives, collect performance data and performance measurements, implement policies and procedures and recommend program/plan changes.
- Participate in the hiring, training, coaching, mentoring, and supervising of team members, to ensure all members needs are coordinated and addressed.
- Provide administrative supervision/job development opportunities to program staff through regular individual supervision meetings and/or regular group staff meetings.
- Demonstrate ability to adhere to agency policies and licensure requirements/training.
- Ability to complete required staffing reports (time-sheets) timely and accurately.
- To ensure compliance & adequate services, additional job duties may be required to meet the needs of the program and or department.
