Position Overview: As a Hydro Tester / Final Assembler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and quality of our products within the oil and gas sector. The primary responsibilities include conducting hydrostatic tests on equipment and overseeing the final assembly of components, contributing to the overall safety and reliability of our products
Key Responsibilities:
Hydrostatic Testing:
Conduct hydrostatic tests on various equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.
Operate and maintain hydrostatic testing equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance.
Final Assembly:
Oversee the final assembly of components, including valves, parts, and related oil and gas equipment.
Collaborate with the assembly team to ensure products meet quality and safety standards.
Quality Control:
Inspect components for defects and ensure adherence to engineering specifications.
Identify and report any non-conformities during testing and assembly processes.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of hydrostatic tests, assembly processes, and quality control checks.
Generate reports detailing testing results and provide recommendations for improvements.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to and enforce all safety protocols and procedures during testing and assembly activities.
Participate in safety meetings and contribute to a culture of safety awareness.
Top skill sets:
Forklift experience (stand up/electrical, sit down). Ideal candidate will have background as a hydro tester and assembly/tester of valves. Familiar with pressure testing.
M-F 7AM - 3:30PM possible OT
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $20.94 - $24.24 per hour
