WHAT WILL YOU DO AS A HEALTHCARE MEDICAL ASSISTANT?
You arrive at 8 or 8:30 AM, ready to take patients back with a warm smile and friendly demeanor. As you prep charts for the doctors ahead of time, ensuring efficiency and organization in the clinic, you also take the time to check for any care gaps in patients' records. Throughout the day, you showcase your good bedside manner, making each patient feel comfortable and cared for. From following up with insurance companies and administering injections to performing EKG, spirometry testing, diabetic eye exams, and urine testing, your day is dynamic and fulfilling. With a schedule that typically ends around 5 PM but may extend beyond to accommodate patient needs, each day is a journey of compassion and expertise in healthcare.
