ROLE IMPACT
As a Workshop Technician Level 1, you'll be part of a highly skilled team at a renowned luxury jewelry company, contributing to the precision and quality that define the brand. This is an entry-level role offering full training and advancement opportunities for candidates with strong hand-eye coordination and a desire to master the craft of watchmaking.
KEY DUTIES
• Disassemble, assemble, and lubricate watch components according to standardized procedures
• Perform hands-on work at a watchmaking bench for extended periods
• Operate polishing machines while maintaining steady precision
• Wear and utilize magnifying loupes for detailed examination of watch parts
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and personal protective equipment requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• High School Diploma or GED
• Comfortable working with small parts and close vision tools (e.g., loupe)
• Basic alpha-numeric recognition and organizational skills
• Ability to follow detailed technical instructions and remain focused during repetitive tasks
EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Loupe magnifier
• Watchmaking and polishing benches
• Low-noise environment with occasional exposure to loud polishing equipment
• Regular sitting; occasional standing, walking, and bending
• Must lift/carry up to 15 lbs (occasionally up to 30 lbs)
