OVERVIEW
We’re looking for a Graphic Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a passion for visual storytelling and a willingness to learn. Almost as importantly, you should not only be a passionate gamer but also be in touch with the culture that surrounds the gaming community. As part of the creative team within the marketing department, you will work closely with the creative team on various projects across all channels, creating engaging visual aesthetics for digital and print materials.
CAPABILITIES
- Proven versatile creative design skills and an excellent eye for design
- Strong sense of layout, photography, typography, form, color, imagery, and composition
- A thorough understanding of digital and print processes
- Well versed in UX/UI design, display advertising, packaging, and social creative standards
- Ability to prioritize, manage and efficiently complete multiple projects to meet shifting needs and deadlines
- Stays current with industry design trends and solutions
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Concept, design and deliver strong, compelling creative consistently for all channels
- Design iteratively, with a grasp of typography, composition, messaging hierarchy, and balance
- Retouch photography and create mockups to help articulate, creative concepts
- Leverage gaming consumer insight and trends to be used as a catalyst for creative ideation
- Remains current on all brand standards and campaigns
- Present innovative ideas clearly and confidently in front of internal stakeholders
- Develop materials for development projects and stakeholder presentations
- Collaborate with a creative team of designers, 3D artists, copywriters and video editors
- Participate in team ideation sessions
- Be a brand steward
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must provide an online portfolio showcasing previous work upon applying. Applicants without this will NOT be considered.
- Excellent understanding of production needs and can produce technically correct digital assets and print-ready mechanicals
- Understand the role of a creative brief, how work should flow from it, and how to develop ideas against it
- Able to take direction and feedback well and execute dictated design ideas when necessary
- Detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to prioritize, manage and efficiently complete multiple projects
- Open to change and highly adaptable to shifting needs and deadlines
- Expert-level knowledge in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Strong Macintosh, Keynote, and Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Bachelor's degree required and/or related work experience
- 1-3 years of agency or in-house creative team experience required
