Financial Controller

COSCO Shipping (North America) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Controller to join our team in the Secaucus, NJ office.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Treasury Management – including daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly requirements
• Risk minimization management and business opportunity forecasting
• Maintain insurance coverage for all companies, manage the renewal process Administer the 401k plan with weekly, monthly and yearly duties
• Chair the 401(k) Plan Fiduciary Committee
• Review payroll input twice a month.
• Coordinate hiring function for department and track employee PTO
• Governmental reporting on a quarterly and annual basis.
• Oversee regulatory reporting, including tax planning and compliance with statutory laws and financial regulations
• Work closely with management or executive teams for budget review, reports and analysis
• Debt Management and collection
• Coordinate and prepare internal and external financial statements
• Coordinate activities of external auditors
• Develop and monitor business performance metrics
• Other activities as requested by the GM
