The newly opened Aloft Hotel on the Country Club Plaza and Cascade Hotel in Kansas City, a Tribute Portfolio hotel, are destined to become the crown jewels of the Country Club Plaza hotel scene. Situated on the North side of the Plaza, these hotels pay tribute to the history of Kansas City, while leaving a distinct mark of their own. With a combined 300 guest rooms, 5 bars, a two-story restaurant, and 15,000 sq feet of meeting space, these hotels will be the preferred destination for smaller conferences, meetings, vacations, celebrations, and everyone else that comes to Kansas City.
We are in search of a Sales Coordinator that will play a key role in the success of these hotels. If you are experienced, innovative, tenacious, and ready to make your mark - we want to hear from you.
The Sales Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Sales and is responsible for the following:
- Act as a primary point of contact for inquiries from clients, providing information about hotel services, rates, and availability.
- Prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process (e.g., proposals, contracts, or banquet event orders).
- Manage the booking process for group reservations, including room blocks and cut off dates, while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information (e.g., leads, third parties, billing) in software involved in the sales process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client communications, contracts, and bookings in the hotel & the sales management system.
- Load Group block information/reservations, assist in managing group functions, and prepare group resumes.
- Create and distribute group resumes to various hotel departments to ensure smooth execution of events and group bookings.
- Maintain good relationships with existing clients.
- Assist with site inspections and tours for potential clients, showcasing hotel facilities and services.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence.
- Communicating with guests and agents following their stay to provide pick up reports, issue points, pay commissions, and finalize billing.
- This role plays a crucial part in supporting the sales team and ensuring the efficient coordination of sales activities to drive revenue growth for the hotel.

- Carry out all reasonable requests by team leaders and managers and act as a team
- player with all levels of staff.
- Review and approve electronic timecards weekly for accuracy.

Job Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Degree or experience in Sales, Marketing, or Hospitality preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.
- CI/TY experience is a strong plus.
- Must be willing to complete drug screen and background check in accordance with
- federal and state laws.
Salary : $18 - $20
