What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper position at Country Inn & Suites?
We are looking to grow our housekeeping team! Full-time positions available for housekeeping. Candidate must have flexible scheduling days available, including weekends and holidays, as needed. Previous experience preferred but not required as we will train to brand requirements.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and lift.
- Must be able to be around various cleaning chemicals and comply with all safety regulations, i.e VHD, OSHA, etc.
- Clean guestrooms and public areas according to standards of the brand.
- Be mindful of occupied rooms and DND guests.
- Place work orders with the maintenance staff as needed.
- Notifying maintenance, supervisors, and/or managers of unsafe/unsanitary conditions in all aspects of the hotel.
- Reporting theft and/or damages to maintenance, supervisors, and/or managers.
- Turn in and report all lost and found items.
- Stocking and maintaining organization on housekeeping closets and carts.
- Observe all requirements when maintaining guest privacy and security.
