What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at Country Partners Cooperative?
The role of the Controller is to assist the CFO in leading the accounting and administrative department while performing duties such as: establishing and maintaining efficient procedures, reviewing accounts payable activity, inventory control, fixed asset accounting, reconciliations, month-end and year-end financial statement preparation and analysis, and annual budget preparations. This position will report directly to the CFO.
Requirements/Certifications:
Four-year degree in accounting or finance, strong computer, and IT skills, understanding of GAAP, experience with business grade enterprise accounting systems, proven skills in Microsoft office software programs and a high level of professionalism and discretion.
