POSITION SUMMARY:
This position primarily oversees projects assigned by the General Services Director of Operations and assists with initiatives requiring the involvement of the General Services Department, ensuring the timely completion of all deliverables. Works with limited supervision.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists with management oversight and direction of General Service's projects, ensuring projects are completed within established goal dates and deadlines.
- Assists with approved General Service's projects and coordinates activity between General Services, other divisions and outside principals.
- Communicate with all parties involved in an accurate, concise and timely fashion.
- Maintains all project related materials (e.g. project scope documents, project plans, etc.).
- Schedules and facilitate all necessary meetings to coordinate projects.
- Communicates business issues, needs and changes expeditiously to Operations Director and suggests solutions to issues as appropriate.
- Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

- Completion of a degree from an accredited college, university, or trades/technical school with coursework in business administration, project management, construction management or related discipline.
- Possess skills in financial accounting, business operations, organization and management necessary to analyze, evaluate, coordinate and control a variety of programs, practices and systems.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence and effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, contractors, and the general public.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, blueprints, technical drawings, development plans, etc.
- Ability to prepare written plans and specifications for public bid documents for use on small scale projects or service contracts to support projects, maintenance, and operations.
- Interpret and apply federal, state and local policies, law and regulations.
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate through all avenues, including oral and written modes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- Comparable amount of training and/or work experience in other related areas may be substituted for the minimum qualifications at the discretion of the General Service Division.
