GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Red Shirt Coordinator position is assigned to Corrections Division, under the general direction of the Captain of Jail Operations. Performs a variety of functions which ensures the safe working environment for inmates in the program and contraband control.
Employment Qualifications: Pass a background check and Law Enforcement experience (Corrections, Probation, Police Officer)
Education: A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Drivers License: The applicant must possess a valid operator’s license.
Other Requirements:
- Achieve Taser certification and maintain proficiency in compliance with department standards.
- The Sheriff's Office is a seven (7) day per week, twenty-four (24) hour per day operation. Work schedules may include nights and weekends.
