Overview
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. This role requires both creativity and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and making recommendations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages to management.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during events such as banquets or private parties to ensure seamless service.
- Stay updated on drink trends, menu items, and promotions to enhance guest experiences.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience is preferred; experience in fine dining or nightclub settings is a plus.
- Proficient in food handling practices and knowledgeable about brewing techniques.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
- Experience using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills to foster relationships with guests and team members.
- Must be at least 21 years of age as per legal requirements for serving alcohol.
