Job Summary: Our client is seeking an Associate Attorney with 0–5 years of experience, preferably with exposure to or interest in litigation, to join their dynamic and collaborative team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing an active caseload of approximately 75–100 cases, with full administrative support from a dedicated assistant. This is an in-office role based in our client’s Jacksonville, FL office, and offers a unique opportunity for early-career attorneys to gain hands-on litigation experience, build client relationships, and grow professionally in a supportive and team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and litigate a diverse personal injury caseload from inception to resolution Draft and respond to pleadings, discovery, motions, and legal correspondence Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda Attend court appearances, hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to deliver outstanding client service Maintain organized case files and track deadlines effectively Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status and strategy
Qualifications
Required: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Admitted to practice law and in good standing with The Florida Bar 0–5 years of legal experience Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage a fast-paced caseload with attention to detail Commitment to client service and professional development Preferred: Litigation experience or demonstrated interest in litigation Prior experience handling personal injury or insurance defense cases
