Electronics Assembly Technician - Longwood, FL (32750)
3-Month Contract to Hire: $20/hr. starting
Hours: 6 AM - 3 PM, Monday to Friday
Assemble and solder fabricated items according to work orders, diagrams, or layouts. Read basic technical drawings and resistor color codes. Inspect circuit boards for defects in workmanship and assembly. Clean printed circuit boards and circuit cards. Perform soldering of through-hole components and surface mount components. Manufacture required cables and cable harnesses for panels and racks. Label and test cables to ensure functionality. Assemble and test component assemblies and final products. Assist in inventory management by picking up components and preparing shipments. Pre-form parts for circuit boards and mechanical assembly. Maintain cleanliness of production areas, performing tasks like mopping, sweeping, and general facility maintenance. Adhere to documented ISO procedures and assembly instructions. Participate in the execution of the cycle count program.

Follows policies, procedures, and supports company goals. Demonstrates efficiency in completing work and strives to increase productivity. Consistently maintain punctuality and attendance, with the ability to work overtime when required.
Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). One to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
