Duties And Responsibilities Of The Accounting Manager
- Compile and analyze financial data to prepare entries, reports (e.g., balance sheets, P&L), and interpret company financial positions for management.
- Audit contracts, orders, and vouchers, ensuring accuracy before settlement.
- Collect and manage financial and operational data for the annual budget process and make recommendations for improvements.
- Coordinate with Corporate Manufacturing Accounting and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax reporting requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience and/or training, or a combination of education and experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to define problems, gather and interpret data, and draw accurate conclusions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly across various media.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of AS400 software is a plus.
- $120,000-$130,00
