Job Title: Accounts Payable Manager

Job Description: Our client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Accounts payable Manager to join their finance team. As a AP Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial health of their healthcare organization by ensuring the timely and accurate processing of accounts payable transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice processing, coding, and approvals.
• Ensure accurate and timely vendor payments and resolve any payment discrepancies or issues.
• Review and reconcile vendor statements and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
• Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and optimize the AP function.
• Prepare various financial reports and analysis related to accounts payable.
• Conduct AP statement reconciliation, including vendor inquiries and follow-up.
• Work with aging reports (in Excel) and track AP accruals for big-ticket items.
• Assist with day-to-day data entry during peak periods, although it's expected to be minimal.
• Demonstrate the ability to investigate and resolve exceptions and anomalies in the accounts payable process.
  
  

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable Manager role
• If you don't have a bachelor's degree, a long history in Accounts Payable is acceptable.
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP, is a must.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Prior experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
