Job Title: Entry-Level Accountant

Location: Onsite in Waterbury, CT

Key Responsibilities of the Entry-Level Accountant

• Assist with daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Monitor and record purchases, payments, and cash activity
• Help maintain and reconcile the general ledger
• Support the month-end close process and related reporting
• Scan checks, organize documentation, and ensure timely transaction processing
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments to keep things running smoothly
• Learn and support sales and use tax filings
  
  

Preferred Qualifications For The Entry-Level Accountant

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or actively pursuing one)
• Internship or prior experience in accounting, finance, or office administration is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable with routine, high-volume tasks
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a hands-on environment
• Ability to work fully onsite, Monday through Friday
