- Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-corporations, and corporations.
- Perform tax research and provide clients with strategies for tax optimization.
- Assist in tax planning for clients, including advising on financial impacts and compliance requirements.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Respond to IRS and state agency inquiries on behalf of clients.
- Mentor and guide junior associates, providing training and support as needed.
- Work closely with clients to understand their tax needs and provide customized solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA license or eligibility strongly preferred.
- 3 years of experience in tax preparation and review within a public accounting firm.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent interpersonal skills and client-focused mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
