My client, a 50-year-old global publicly traded manufacturing organization, is seeking an Accounting Manager. This person will be groomed to move into a Sr. Accounting Manager role in the near future. Hybrid -2 or 3 days from home from the start. Up to $100k base. Great benefits and work/life balance. Overview of the Accounting Manager:
- The Accounting Manager will be responsible for leading a team and overseeing the closing process.
- Prepare financial statements.
- Management of an effective Sarbanes Oxley financial reporting control environment as well as the oversight and execution of controls testing
- Assisting in the preparation of the annual budget, monthly operations and maintenance expense forecasts, variance analysis, and other analyses.
- Management of the customer billing and collections process
- Preparation and analysis of the monthly and quarterly performance reports
- Management of the working capital and cash flow reporting process.
- Performing ad hoc financial analysis as required.
- Opportunities to be involved in and/or lead special projects crossing various functional groups.
- Corresponding with, and support of, other Corporate functional areas such as accounting/external reporting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, tax, IT, and investor relations.
Preferred Qualifications of the Accounting Manager:
- The Accounting manager must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience at a publicly traded company or performing audits at for publicly traded company.
- Experience with SAP and OneStream is a plus.
- Ability to work hybrid in Cool Spring.
