Our client is a construction company in the north west suburbs.
They are looking for a Controller to join their accounting team.

The Controller will compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts.
The Controller will handle month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities.
The Controller will handle reporting to summarize current and projected company financial position.
The Controller will prepare reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to monthly close process.
The Controller will assist the team where needed, and provide guidance.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE CONTROLLER ROLE:
Previous Assistant Controller or Controller background
Advanced Excel skills
Sage CRE 300 is a PLUS
Attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
