ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Take orders for and serve all food and beverage requests. Ability to describe all menu items, prices and methods of preparation.
- Use suggestive selling techniques to encourage the guests to choose items that are house specialties.
- Maintain tables throughout service thereby providing great service to the guests, maximizing sales through up selling and ensuring that all guest’s expectations are met.
- Control guest checks and secure proper payment.
- Ensure station and table set-ups are complete and perform various side duties as assigned by the Outlet Supervisor.
- Maintain proper condition and cleanliness of dining and service areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- High school or equivalent education required.
- Must be 18 years of age to serve alcohol.
- TABC certified and Tips Trained required; Food Handlers required.
- One year of experience as a food server in a full-service restaurant is required.
- Have knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
