POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the guidance of the Healthy Living team leadership, the Water Fitness Instructor (WFI) is responsible for conducting safe, effective and enjoyable classes at the Y. The specific duties of the WFI include member service, member involvement, and responsibility for providing state-of-the art, quality classes. .

- CERTIFICATIONS:
- AEA
- YMCA , ACE, AFAA, or ACSM Exercise Leader certification
- CPRO or AHA BLS-C, First Aid, AED
- AFYAP Instructor required for Arthritis/YMCA instructor
- Must be able to model the core values; Caring, Respect, Responsibility, and Honesty.
- Ability to follow and accept instruction, and relate well with peers.
- Must have commitment to the mission and cause of the YMCA and uphold its values and ethics.
