Are you passionate about education and helping students achieve their goals?
Critical Point, a premier test prep and college consulting company, is seeking dedicated SAT/ACT tutors for part-time roles (10-15 hours per week) with the potential for full-time opportunities in the future. We offer rigorous training and a supportive work environment, where you can make a real impact on students' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized one-on-one and occasional small group tutoring for SAT/ACT students
- Create customized lesson plans and track student progress
- Set and achieve academic goals with students and families
- Attend regular team meetings and training sessions
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the SAT and ACT exams by taking mock tests
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Must have scored a 1550 on the SAT or 34 on the ACT (We will train you if needed!)
- Available to work 1 weekend day and 4 weekday evenings
- Strong knowledge of Algebra 2, Trigonometry, and Calculus (Statistics a plus)
- Enjoy working with students from middle school to college age
- Must be able to commute and work in-person at our Wayne, PA office
