Job Purpose: Perform duties including but not limited to supervising daily operations, warehouse inventory management, material prep and packaging for jobs, truck driving, trailer loading and unloading, delivery and pick up of materials and equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive inventory and unload trucks; verify invoice accuracy, stock inventory in warehouse
- Conduct monthly warehouse inventory counts and maintain proper stock levels
- Order materials needed for projects and coordinate delivery to jobs
- Must be able to fulfill a BOM, work order, or loading list
- Keep an accurate travel log to be submitted for review weekly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inventory warehouse (sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning restrooms, removing trash, etc.)
- Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, Crom Purchasing Agents, and Crom Shop
- Ability to drive for extended periods in large vehicles (e.g., F-450) while towing loaded trailers up to 24ft in length
- Maintain and submit an accurate weekly driver’s log/record
- Identify repair needs and service shop equipment, fleet vehicles, and tools; manage tools/equipment taken to third party repair shops.
- Observe and follow all mandatory safety procedures, including the use of all personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Must be organized and detail-oriented
- Must possess the ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Work as required at the West Palm Warehouse providing the same duties and Responsibilities as the Fort Myers Warehouse location
Preferred Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Construction and warehouse inventory experience
Other requirements/Skills
- Possess basic Excel, Word, Outlook, and Microsoft Windows skills
- Ability to learn Costpoint and RFgen software
- Verbal and written communication
- Ability to operate a FEL, Forklift, Concrete Pump, Compressor, Manlift and telehandle
- Be able to obtain and hold a DOT and Hazmat certifications
- Possess a basic understanding of common tools and know how to read a tape measure and basic math skills.
- Ability to read and understand Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Product Data Sheets (PDS)
- Ability to climb and work at heights above 50ft.
- Certifications: OSHA 10, First Aid, and CPR
Working Conditions
- Must wear appropriate work attire including work boots and PPE
- Works inside a warehouse
- Drive a truck and pull a trailer
- Works outside and exposed to the elements
- Exposed to hazardous materials
- Exposed to frequent loud noises
- Exposed to dangerous machinery
- Generally works five 8-hour days, although overtime may occur
