Job Description
Our client, a major manufacturer, is looking to add some warehouse professionals to their team in Idaho Falls, ID.
These long-term contract positions (possibility of extension or direct hire for the right individual) offer a starting pay rate of $20/hour (benefits are available).
The Warehouse Worker/Material Handler will be responsible for operating a forklift for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, and stacking for accurate storing, shipping, and receiving of product to meet standards of safety, security, and productivity.
This position must fill and/or relabel customer orders and deliver them to the staging area or location in a manner of completeness and correctness.
This position will also tram product from production areas using a yard hustler to move the trailers.
Schedule
1st shift: 7:30 am – 4:30 pm
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Minimum of 2 years of Warehouse/Material Handling experience Required
- Warehouse/Material Handling experience in a chemical environment is Strongly Preferred
- Minimum 1 year of Forklift operation experience Required
- Must be computer literate; Experience with Excel and SAP are a plus
- Must be able to trouble shoot and come up with resolutions for day to day activities in shipping department.
