We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Behavioral Health Clinician (this is a floater position between units). In this role, you will provide counseling services to individuals using a combination of therapeutic and recreational interventions.
All applicants are required to undergo a pre-employment drug screening.

Key responsibilities for this role include:
Conduct patient assessments and gather all necessary information to determine the appropriate level of care.
Conducting group, family, and individual counseling sessions and potentially leading psycho-educational or family groups.
Administering assessments to evaluate patient needs.
Completing documentation promptly according to CTP clinical procedures.
Regularly report patient progress to the supervisor.
Coordinating and referring patients to supportive services in the community to supplement treatment and counseling.
Traveling to outlying sites to provide training and treatment to patients.
Maintain an OTP caseload and conduct annual updates, including CCAR, DACOD, and other relevant assessments as required.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
HS Diploma or BA with a CAS Certification.
and
Master’s degree in sociology or a related field.
Registered as an Addiction Counselor Candidate (ADDC) with the State of Colorado.
The candidate must be able to obtain CAS certification within 18 months from the date of hire.
and/or
Licensure:
Requires licensure as LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.
A Certified Addiction Specialist (CAS) and a professional license are preferred.
The candidate must be able to obtain CAS certification within 18 months from the date of hire.
Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years working in the mental health field.
Previous substance treatment experience and expertise with trauma preferred.
Demonstrated experience working with interdisciplinary teams.
Other:
Understanding the ASAM level of care criteria is preferred.
Solid communication skills.
Proficient computer skills are required, including electronic records.
CPR and First-Aid certification (initial training and renewals paid for by the agency).
Valid driver's license and insurability.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to stand, walk, sit, and drive.
