We invite a compassionate and dynamic individual to join us as a Residential Aide for the men's residential unit. This role requires collaboration as a team member of the assigned unit to assist counseling staff in delivering a range of alcohol and drug-related services by performing various duties.
Please note that all applicants must undergo a pre-employment drug screening, which includes testing for marijuana, as well as a comprehensive background check (including an FBI background check).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assists in maintaining the unit in an organized, clean, and efficient manner.
Transports patients to and from appointments, support groups, employment searches, and other related activities.
Maintains the security of the assigned unit in accordance with CTP policy and procedure.
Responsible for immediately reporting child abuse or neglect to the unit supervisor and area director when applicable.
Monitors patients and their activities. Accurately documents the activities of each patient during the assigned shift.
Responsible for reporting all patient infractions, concerns, or problems to the primary counselor or supervisor.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Requires a High School Diploma or GED.
Experience:
Must be able to demonstrate a willingness to learn the dynamics of substance use, alcohol, and its effects. Prefer prior experience working in a substance abuse setting or a human service agency.
Others:
Able to communicate effectively. Must be able to follow directions.
CPR and First-Aid certification (the agency will cover all training and renewal fees).
Valid driver's license and insurability.
Basic computer skills required.
