Permissions Coordinator (Full Time)
Reports to: Licensing Manager
General Responsibilities:
The Permissions Coordinator’s role is to give oversight to Crossway’s permissions program by fielding permissions requests related to all Crossway publications.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary representative and coordinator for all book, ESV Bible, and tract permissions–fielding all requests, corresponding with requesting parties, facilitating decisions, and following up.
- Negotiate permissions terms and prepare and archive permissions documents.
- Receive, evaluate, and respond to all requests for permission to use Crossway content.
- Maintain existing online permission forms and implement any changes, as directed.
- Manage permission requests from Crossway’s ESV API.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.

High organizational skills, thoroughness and proven ability to manage details with accuracy for multiple projects. Friendly demeanor, positive attitude, ability to learn and take responsibility, to work well within a small team, and to serve others in the workplace. Clear understanding of and agreement with Crossway’s mission, ethos and standards. Honesty and integrity. Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Qualifications:
- This is an ON-SITE entry-level position
- A college degree or equivalent professional work experience
- Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize a large volume of work
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility to set priorities under pressure, and to work well in both collaborative settings and independently

Salary:
The position provides a competitive salary based on previous work experience, education, acquired skills, and established relationships. The salary is commensurate with current standards for comparable positions and responsibilities within publishing and other leading not-for-profit ministries. Compensation for every Crossway employee is reviewed and evaluated annually by the Executive Compensation Committee (ECC) of the Crossway Board of Directors.
