Pomeroy College of Nursing at Crouse Hospital seeks applicants to provide clinical instruction for associate degree nursing students in a mental health/psychiatric care setting. Adjunct faculty are expected to instruct students in the clinical setting; provide support and guidance; and evaluate student performance of clinical course learning outcomes. Adjunct faculty are accountable for providing timely student feedback both formative and summative throughout the entirety of the clinical experience. Clinical rotation schedules vary and may include day or evening hours.
Position requirements: Education - Master's degree in nursing required or be actively involved in Master's level degree work. A Bachelor's degree in nursing, current New York State licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse and current CPR certification are required. Three years of recent clinical experience required. Prior experience in teaching or precepting students is preferred.
Hourly Rate:
$50.00/hr. with a Master's Degree
$39.78/hr. with a Bachelor's Degree
