What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN/Anesthesia Technician position at Crouse Hospital?
The Licensed Practical Nurse/Anesthesia Technician assists the Anesthesia team in the preparation setup of surgical cases as well as cleaning, maintaining, and stocking the anesthesia equipment and carts between cases.
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE
Required:
â— High school diploma or equivalent.
â— Currently licensed in the State of New York as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
â— Must have BLS (Basic Life Support) certification at the time of hire or within two (2) weeks after hire.
Preferred:
â— Current certification with the Association of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians preferred
EXPERIENCE
Required:
â— Minimum of one (1) year previous LPN experience in a direct patient care setting.
Preferred:
â— Previous critical care/anesthesia experience preferred
