Position Overview: The Financial Services Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the Financial Services Team by ensuring the efficient processing of annuities, investments, and various financial products. This role requires a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Annuities and Investment Processing:
- Assist with the preparation and submission of applications for annuities and investments.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of retirement plans, 401(k), and brokerage accounts.
- Monitor and follow up on submitted applications to ensure timely approval and execution.
- Address and resolve discrepancies or issues with carriers, custodians, or clients.
Client Account Management:
- Support onboarding of new clients, preparing required documents, and verifying account setup.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for client accounts.
- Process client requests, including money transfers, withdrawals, and account updates.
- Respond to client inquiries and provide status updates on their accounts or transactions.
Team Collaboration and Support:
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Financial Services Team.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and summaries for team review.
- Assist with compliance and regulatory documentation as required.
Documentation and Record-Keeping:
- Maintain an organized system for storing and retrieving client files, records, and correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Monitor deadlines and track progress on financial transactions and projects.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency within the team.
- Assist in developing and implementing best practices for financial operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in financial services, investment operations, or administrative support is a plus.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., CRM tools, MS Excel, investment platforms) is preferred but not required.
