Registered Nurse RN Emergency Department

Employment Type: Full time Shift: Night Shift Description: At Johnson Memorial Hospital the Emergency Department provides overall fast response to emergency needs of our patients in a safe and effective way for the best outcomes. What you will do In this critical role you will assist in creating and managing nursing care plans and will participate in the evaluation of current and future medical needs of the patient. Minimum Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program. BSN graduate preferred. Licensure: Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut. Certification: BLS required. CPI. ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire. TNCC preferred. Preferred Skills: Experience: Critical Care and/or Acute Care experience preferred. 2 to 3 years in ED setting preferred but not required.
